The Emmanuel Cathedral and its magnificent organ recently underwent a R3 million restoration.

The public will have a chance to hear this splendid instrument on March 14 at 19h30 when Jeremy Joseph will play works by Bach, Mendelssohn and Saint-Saëns. At the age of 22 and now studying in Germany, Jeremy Joseph is considered one of South Africa’s most promising organists.

He will give a further organ recital in Pietermaritzburg on March 11 at 15h00 in the Cathedral of the Holy Nativity.

Tickets R20 (R15 students and pensioners) at the door for both performances.
