Saron Gas - acquired from the name of a sound effect apparently – is the name of one of South Africa’s most talented hard rock/grunge bands. Saron Gas comprises Shaun Welgemoed (vocals and guitar); Dale Stewart (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Dave Cohoe (drums and backing vocals).

The group is due to appear in KZN on December 22 at Rockerfellas on the South Coast and on December 23 at Burn in Durban.
