Fast gaining a reputation in Durban and due to tour with Fruit Fly Navigators in mid December, The AK Massive promises to “wreak havoc” at the Winston on November 25 with their “rock hop” blend of hip hop and alternative rock which they describe as “somewhere between Cypress Hill, The Smashing Pumpkins and the Deftones.”

Unafraid to be South African, unafraid to cause controversy, the AK Massive lyrics are “about the usual things, love, paying the rent and having a gun stuck through your window whilst driving home from work.” One of the most original and energetic bands in South Africa, The AK Massive comprises Mark McMahon (lead guitar), Brett Langton (percussion) and Bruce Graham (rhythm guitar and bass).

Entrance is R5 and a cash bar is available with reasonable prices.
