The Johannesburg Jewish Male Choir will perform on November 4 in the Durban Jewish Club at 20h30.

In 1986, 44 choristers representing the newly-formed Johannesburg Jewish Male Choir, performed on the stage of the Linder Auditorium, Johannesburg, to pay tribute to the memory of cantor Johnny Gluck and vowing, through his spirit, to keep the heritage of Jewish liturgical music alive.

The performers of the choir reflect the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of the musical directorate and choristers, who give their time on a voluntary basis. Their reward is the knowledge that through their efforts, numerous charities have benefited and the culture of the Jewish people has been experienced by many.
