Once again, Evesham Castle at Hillcrest will present an afternoon of light music on July 11 at 13h30.

The concert will feature the popular trio soprano Suzanne Atwill, baritone John Butler and pianist Norman Hesom. The programme will include songs from well-known musicals such as Make Believe, We’ll Gather Lilacs, Desert Song and Cavatina from The Deerhunter as well as numbers from Camelot to set the theme for the appropriate olde-English setting.

The concert is in aid of Hillcrest Hospital and there will be a minimum donation of R20. Audience members are urged to bring chairs, blankets and a picnic basket as well as suitable liquid refreshment to spent an afternoon of relaxation by the Evesham Castle lake.

Evesham Castle is situated in Westriding Road, Hillcrest. For further details phone Jeremy Turner on 765-5490.
