St Mary’s DSG in Kloof has a good policy when it comes to the arts and the school offers occasional music events. On June 8, there will be a student recital from 18h00 to 19h00 in the school’s chapel

Take along your own refreshments for An Evening of Music which will be held on June 11 in the school hall at 18h30. On the programme will be the St Mary’s Musicians, the junior and senior primary and Chamber choirs, the Orff Group, the African Music Ensemble, the jazz band, the flute group, the string orchestra and the junior and senior orchestras. Tickets at R10 go towards funding the Chamber choir’s tour to Zimbabwe later in June.

The St Mary’s Chamber Choir and the Steel Drum Band will perform at St Agnes Church in Kloof on June 21 at 19h30.
