The State Theatre’s successful 1993 production of Me and My Girl will be restaged during November and December in the Opera Theatre of the Spoornet State Theatre. The director and choreographer Is Gillian Gregory and Graham Scott will be the musical director.

Artistes need to be available for rehearsals and performances from September 26 to December 20 with a possible extension to January 20, 2001. Auditions will take place on May 29 for principals and on May 30 for dancers and chorus. Candidates should be available for possible call-back auditions on May 31.

All audition pieces must be memorised (music & script). Candidates may sing anything they like but the accompanist needs sheet music (neatly - no loose papers). Dancers auditioning must bring their own jazz/tap shoes. All candidates must hand in an updated CV and recent photograph with their audition form. Should it be necessary due to lack of time, further auditions and call backs may be scheduled for June 1 and 2.
