Former Durban singer Megan Kahts is to appear in Don Pasquale, a production presented by Salon Music in association with the University of Pretoria and the UNISA Music Foundation.

Directed by Jannie Moolman, this comic opera by Donizetti is a charming work full of farcical shenanigans with delightful melodies to boot.

Megan Kahts will appear alongside Righard Linde, Douwe Bijkersma, Daniël Verster and Jean-Pierre Verster accompanied by a Salon ensemble. Musical arrangements and direction are by Willem Vogel.

There are only two performances: ZK Matthews Auditorium (UNISA) on May 18 at 15h00 and at Musaion at the University of Pretoria on May 25 at 15h00. Bookings through Salon Music on 012 346 3474 or e-mail: salmus@icon.co.za
