Recently, Eddie Miller was trying to get something going in his home town of Port Elizabeth that would allow musicians to advertise for free any instruments for sale or voice opinions and so on. When he received a positive response from music shops, he became more enthusiastic and decided to start websites for musicians in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town as well.

People can put up their own adverts or opinions from a computer at an internet cafe or from any other computer. These adverts are free, but if they want a photograph put up, the charge is R20 to size it and put it up.

Durban bands and musicians can visit http://durbanbands.blogspot.com

The other addresses are http://joburgbands.blogspot.com for Johannesburg musicians; http://capetownbands.blogspot.com for those living in Cape Town and http://pebands.blogspot.com for those in Port Elizabeth.
