Singers Wendy Jones, Lorraine Welsch, Riaan van Jaaarsveld and Basil Munro accompanied by Helen Vermaak on the piano with Don Jones as narrator will perform a Spieonkop Centenary Concert. This takes the form of a free lunch-hour concert on March 28 in the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg from 13h10 to 13h50.

This programme was presented successfully at Winterton for the Spieonkop Centenary Celebrations. The music comprises mainly Afrikaans and English songs associated with the Boer War. Don Jones links the songs with a narration. While entrance is free, donations are welcome.
