Due to run at the Catalina Theatre from October 23, Sasol Fever is a new musical penned by Gail Snyman which tells a fascinating tale.

In the bad old days when the then-government sought to solve its petrol problems by the creation of the Sasol plant in Secunda, many of the best boilermakers, welders, fitters and turners, were “bruin ou’s” from Durban. The exodus of qualified men from the Coloured community of Durban commuting to the Sasol construction site made for some hilarious and heart- wrenching stories.

Sasol Fever runs at Catalina Theatre from October 23 to November 18 from Tuesday to Saturdays nightly at 20h00 (Sundays at 18h00).
