KwaZulu Theatre and Entertainment Project invites all talented artists to audition for its theatre production called Kwa Zulu written and directed by Durban’s emerging director Bonginkosi Shangase.

Bonginkosi also directed Maluju Zulu a stage production which was recently enjoyed by Durban audiences during Christmas holidays.

Auditions will take place in the Stable Theatre in Alice Street over two days, January 26 and 27 at 09h00. Kwa Zulu will be staged at the Playhouse in May as part of its New Stages programme for 2007. The production talks about the province of KwaZulu-Natal and gives focus to the beauty of the province and its attractions. The production requires highly talented singers, dancers (various styles of African dance), poets, drummers (for Indlamu and percussion) as well as actors.

All interested individuals are requested to be at the venue at 09h00, no latecomers will be attended to. Poets can bring their own poems, singers their own songs and percussionists to bring their own percussion drums.
