The subject of child labour is hardly what one would expect to find as a theme for a musical but Our Voice Our Rights written and directed by Edmund Mhlongo promises a “dynamic and delightful flavour of music and dance”.

Presented by Ukhozi FM and The Alive Kids Positive Arts, Our Voice Our Rights focuses on the fact that statistics show a figure of over 500 000 in child labour in South Africa. The musical runs from May 24 to 30 in the Playhouse Drama before it heads for the United Kingdom for a tour from June 12 to July 26.
