A Choir Festival is to be held on June 3 in the Northlands Girls High School Hall at 14h30 to raise funds for the Ethekwini Eisteddfod which used to be the Natal Eisteddfod (NSAM&D) and which ceased to run for about four years.

"We have resurrected it over the past two years and hope that it will go from strength to strength” said Northlands Music teacher Jenny Bonsignore. “The schools taking part are NGHS, Durban Girls College, Pinetown Girls High, Northlands Primary, Durban Chamber choir and the Durban Symphonic Choir.”

Tickets R10 and refreshments will be on sale. More information from Jenny Bonsignore at Northlands Girls’ High School on 031 571 1000.
