Perennial podium favourite Leslie B Dunner returns to launch the Winter Season on May 18 with Mozart Splendour, a Mostly Mozart programme. This will feature Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Christopher Duigan as soloist in the Piano Concerto No 19 in F Major K459.

Haydn's early masterpiece, the Symphony No 8 (the third of the famous Morning, Noon and Night trilogy) leavens the mix, before the Durban Symphonic Choir show their paces in their 40th anniversary year with Mozart's jubilant Coronation Mass in C Major K317. Guest soloists are Bongi Simelane (soprano), Charlotte Stoppelenburg (mezzo soprano), Mhlonishwa Dlamini (tenor) and Juan Burgers (baritone).

The concert takes place in the Durban City Hall at 19h30 and the season runs until June 29.
