Mojo Blues Bar & Grill is a restaurant and live music venue situated in The Square on Umhlanga Rocks Drive on La Lucia Ridge.

“We offer an experience of good food, music, and dance to an audience that appreciates a great night out,” says proprietor John Harris. “We always insist on full bands - no computers and midi stuff here - or great unplugged music that ranges from excellent covers to wonderful original music.

“In the past we have showcased one of Mississippi’s greatest blues guitarists, Vasti Jackson, and Earnest Dawkins, a top Chicago saxophonist. Dan Patlansky has also played this venue. We try as hard as possible to support and introduce South African musical talent to our local market as well as holidaymakers and international guests that frequent this area. We provide a state of the art in house PA system and lighting rig and also cater for on stage requirements of back-line equipment.”
