The University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Centre for Jazz hosts regular jazz sessions during semesters. The 2006 programme starts off on February 28 at 17h30 with the exciting 11-piece Nhanssala comprising French and Mozambique musicians.

This performance is in collaboration with Alliance Française. More information from Glynis Malcolm-Smith on 031 260 3385, fax 031 260 2085 or email: malcolms@ukzn.ac.za

There is no jazz on March 1 because of the General Elections.

In addition to the jazz sessions, the Centre for Jazz hosts The Folk Club who meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 17h30 to 19h30 as well as the Blues Club who meet on the last Friday of the month.
