The Nedbank Music at the Lake open-air concert series takes place at the Durban Botanic Gardens. There are two concerts in September:

September 11 at 14h30: Festival of Spring. The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra will present a programme of popular music from the shows and magnificent overtures to celebrate the coming of spring.

September 25 at 14h30: Wills Blues Band. Two of Durban's most highly rated musicians and song writers, Will Wallace and Richard Haslop, will perform an afternoon of acoustic blues spanning several decades. They will be joined by the rest of Wills Blues Band for a blistering electric programme of raunchy Chicago style blues and rambunctious blues-fuelled rock that will include several of Will's own compositions.

Tickets R35 (R30 Senior Citizens and R25 students and Friends of the Durban Botanic Gardens). Free entry for children under 12 years. Tickets available from the Info Centre in the Gardens two weeks before a concert. Further information from the Info Centre on 031 309 1170 or 031 202 5819.
