The Durban Folk Club will feature three young bands on May18: Cold Tea, acoustic rock band Emet, and The Neon Anthems.

Cold tea is an acoustic rock group hailing from Durban. They describe their music as a mature blend of percussive guitar and progressive melody lines accompanied by a well orchestrated rhythm section. They draw their influence from Dave Mathews, Jimi Hendrix and the Stones, communicating a fresh sound and vibe of their own. Cold tea performed twice at Splashy Fen 2005 and received an excellent response.

Music starts from 20h00 at Jammit Dammit, 473 Sydney Road. Food and bar available, secure parking. Entrance R20. More information from Fiona on 031 776 3458.
