The KZN Youth Choir is a non-profit organisation and relies on membership fees from the choristers as well as support from the general public.

In June this year, the choir will be touring Germany and Austria. Under the baton of Gerard du Toit, it will represent not only KZN but the whole of South Africa in the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Germany.

On April 22, the KZN Youth Choir will perform with the Durban Men’s Choir and the KZN Youth Wind Band to raise funds for the tour. Each chorister in the KZN Youth Choir is encouraged to sell tickets and in return will receive 50% of their own ticket sales towards the costs of their overseas tour.

The concert takes place at 19h00 on April 22 in the Durban City Hall.

Tickets R40 (R30 pensioners and children). More information from Anita Ruscoe on 082 959 0375.
