Telling the story of the lifestyle and music of the Mamas and Papas and their friends during the 60’s, California Dreaming promises to be “the grooviest, hippiest and certainly most psychedelic show of the year”.

The cast includes Nothando Ngubane, Marion Loudon, Ricky MacGregor and Cobus Vos. Musical direction is by the inimitable Dawn Selby, direction by David Gouldie, characterisation by Aaron McIlroy and lighting by Michael Broderick.

Expect numbers such as the title song, California Dreaming as well as Monday Monday, Dream a Little Dream of Me, Dancing in the Street, Eve of Destruction, Dedicated to the one I Love and many more.

Arrive at the performance in the best 60’s gear and audience members could find themselves winning a prize for the “best dressed man and woman” at each performance.

A Gala performance opens the production on April 12 and the season continues until May 8. Booking is through Computicket with block bookings and all enquiries to 082 632 7966.
