Director Lynn Chemaly is to introduce a new look to the popular musical Godspell for the latest production by St Anne’s College.

Said to be a modern Africanised version, it will feature an all-female cast using the techniques of physical theatre and mime to create parables and vignettes. Godspell is based on the Gospel of Saint Matthew and portrays the teachings of Jesus Christ in a fun and playful, yet sincere interpretation.

Godspell runs at St Anne’s College Theatre in Hilton from March 14 to 17 at 19h00. Tickets R25. Bookings on 033 343 3300.
