Prior to the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra’s World Symphony Season Series concerts, Friends of Music offer musically illustrated introductory talks designed to enlighten and entertain the audiences of the concert to follow.

Each speaker is an authority on their subject. They include: Michael Green (February 10); Omri Hadari (February 17 and 24); Melvyn Tan in conversation with Bobby Mills (March 3); Ros Conrad (March 10); Francois du Toit (March 17) and Victor Yampolsky (March 24).

The admission price of R20 per person includes light refreshments. The Pre-Concert lectures take place at the Royal Hotel at 18h15.
