The eight piece maskanda group Vumile noJikelele will appear on January 7 at the BAT Centre’s regular Music on the Deck series.

Vumile noJikelele recently returned representing South Africa and the 10 Years of Freedom celebrations in Mexico.

“It’s good to see one of the more promising groups that have emerged from the TransAfrica Express’s regular programme doing so well for themselves!,” says Neil Comfort of TransAfrica Express. “This is the music of KZN.”

Music on the Deck starts on the Deck outside the BAT Centre bar at 18h00. More information on 031 332 0804.
