Soprano Angela Gilbert’s international music career means that she is spending most of her time out of South Africa these days.

However, she will be in Pietermaritzburg on November 14 to perform at the Tatham Art Gallery at 15h30, accompanied by Christopher Duigan.

Last month Angela Gilbert was invited to cover the role of the Queen of The Night in the New York Met's new production of Mozart's Magic Flute. Her programme with Duigan includes the Queen of the Night arias plus music by Puccini, Bellini and Gershwin.
