Due to circumstances beyond their control, the organisers apologise that the tribute to Sipho Gumede at the Standard Bank Awesome Africa Music Festival will not take place due to legal issues to do with his estate. Any inconvenience to artists and person/s who wished to make their contribution to this very important event is sincerely regretted.

This means that the whole programme moves down by one slot ie Standard Bank Youth starts one slot later and Thierry Robin fills the Tribute slot.
