Baroque 2000 presents its next concert on June 27 at 11h15 at St Olav's Church, 214 St Thomas Road.

Sponsored by the Alliance Francaise, and entitled Music at Versailles: the Court of Louis XIV, the programme includes music by Lully, de Lalande, and Couperin.

The orchestra will then be joined once again by the fine Ars Nova Consort (Director Lance Philip) from Pretoria for a performance of Charpentier’s Te Deum. The orchestra and choir will present the same pieces at the Grahamstown Festival in Rhodes Chapel on July 3 and 4 at 15h00.
