Auditions for Richard Loring’s internationally acclaimed musical African Footprint – the first production to be staged at the new Izulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom – will be held at The Playhouse on June 3.

“We are looking for singers and dancers with previous experience to be integrated into the Durban cast of African Footprint,” says Richard Loring. “Dancers must be trained and have some previous professional stage experience. Preference will be given to dancers who can perform a variety of dance styles and experience in tap and contemporary will be advantageous.”

African Footprint starts its run at the Izulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom near Umdloti in November 2004.

Dance auditions begin at 10h00. Dancers will be required to participate in a class of variety of dance styles.

Singing auditions will begin at 14h00. All singers are required to provide a CD or tape with backing tracks for their performances.
