Music Revival is to host a rare visit by international musicians on tour in South Africa with the Hand-dupre Guitar Duo at the Hilton College Theatre.

The sound of the classical guitar is a marvellous affair, but when two guitars appear in symmetry, harmony and unison it is a special event. The Hand-dupre Duo have delighted audiences around the world, giving recitals in major international cities including New York, Berlin, Warsaw, Oslo, Brussels, The Hague, Tel Aviv, Colombo and Delhi.

The Duo’s London performances have included the Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Ronnie Scott’s and the BBC Proms at the Albert Hall. Their visit to South Africa brings a thrilling new combination of exquisite timbres from the instruments. The programme includes many of their own personal arrangements of music by Debussy, Grieg, Mendelsshon, Gershwin, Granados and more.

The performance takes place on June 3 at 19h30. Tickets R60. Book on 033 383 0126.
