On December 27 Burn Nightclub at 112 Umbilo Road will host their second annual music awards. The idea was born last year as a result of a perceived lack of coverage for performing bands. The consensus amongst the rock specific industry is that there are no awards ceremonies that are acknowledged by the public as genuinely representative. The Burn Music Awards were created rewarding the industry that achieved exceptional live status at Burn Nightclub during the year.

With over 100 of the top bands in South Africa performing on the Burn stage during 2003 we are now pleased to present the nominations for this years Burn Music Awards.

Among the categories is the Year Achievement Award which will be presented to a company or individual that did the most in 2003 to support the growth of the South African Rock Music Industry.
