BA Sound appeals to their customers to let them know immediately if anyone offers business information about BA Sound, or if communications are received from unusual sources.

It will take time to replace the server and get up and running. In the meantime, BA Sound is open for business as usual, but invoices or statements cannot be printed neither can the organisation quote accurate prices instantly.

Anyone expecting a quote from BA Sound should send an e-mail re-stating the requirements.

“We are very depressed about this loss - we thought we had taken all the necessary precautions to protect ourselves - alarms, security, and so on, but it seems even that is insufficient,” says BA Sound’s Allison Alan-Brown. “In the aftermath of this event, we have learnt that just one insurance assessor alone is processing over R300,000 per week in computer theft claims for the Durban area! So, please follow your back-up routines carefully, and make sure your security is tight.”

On a more positive note, BA Sound has to offer a drum mic kit in carry case just R1,900! This is the result of suppliers sending four extra sets of drum kit microphones by mistake! They are only R2,195 each including VAT full retail, and have a kick drum mic, three toms mics and one snare mic, all by Samson.
