As of October 19, the Richard Walne & the Burlesque Supergroup will perform regularly at BlueBottles, at the Point Waterfront.

“In an attempt at defying Monday, prolonging the weekend and stirring up some good feeling amongst passing ocean-going sailors”, say the band, “this big-beat band will play their brand of Blues & Soul and Rock&Roll. With local hotties Roly on bass, Grant on drums, Jochen on guitar, Helen singing and Andy, Dave and Murray on horns, Richard's worms-eye view songs get the busty treatment, popping out the sides and top a bit.”

As the fine summer weather sets in, the roof-top will host the band with the restaurant providing necessary meals and liquid refreshment. The music starts at 19h30 and entrance fee is R10.
