Every concert in any KZN Philharmonic World Symphony Season is preceded by a musically illustrated introductory talk presented by the Friends of Music Society. These talks are designed to enlighten and entertain, and each speaker is an authority on their subject.

Classical music lovers will find this to be a worthwhile 30 minutes. The talks are open to all concert-goers and are held at the Royal Hotel from 18h15 to 18h45.
