On October 1 an All Nations Shall Worship concert takes place at the NU Jazz Centre on the University of Natal campus as part of the musical extravaganza held in Durban over the Michaelmas holidays. Five local gospel groups will present an evening of music and worship, proving that although the styles of worship may be different, the aim is the same: to praise God through music.

Bands playing are Joy, a soul/gospel group made up of members of the light music department at Technikon Natal, New Covenant which features Michelle Tryon performing a fusion of R&B and rock gospel and Miles Ahead, a five-piece jazz/gospel band. Also featured are Hope, an afro-gospel ensemble, and Deo Quorum, a six-piece close harmony group.

The All Nations Shall Worship concert starts at 18h00. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available. Tickets are costs R5. Call Glynnis at the centre on 260-3385 for more information.
