Georgi's in Kloof is celebrating its first birthday this month and so far has built up a great following for its friendly ambience and good food, not forgetting the entertaining jazz evenings most of which have been sell outs.

This month the George Ellis Trio will be entertaining patrons on October 11. George is a well-known Durban drummer who has played with the likes of Joe Delew and Platform jazz. His group comprises George on drums, Vuma Mkize on keyboards and Dwain Nichols on bass. They will play jazz standards and a couple of original compositions.

The evening starts at 19h00 and tickets at R85 include a three-course meal. Contact Simon on 031 764-6244 for more information and to book.
