Pianist Christopher Duigan will be playing Beethoven's magnificent Waldstein piano sonata on June 13 at 14h30 and again on June 14 at 19h30 at Wedgwood in Hilton.

Dedicated by Beethoven to his piano pupil, the Count Waldstein, this most popular work is full of radiant harmonies and grand climaxes and forms the centre of this classical recital. Also on the programme is Handel's Harmonious Blacksmith, Debussy Preludes and Images and haunting melodies by Tchaikovsky. (70 mins)
