Running from April 29 to May 2 at Splashy Fen Farm in the Underberg, Splashy Fen Music Festival this year celebrates its tenth anniversary and looks set to be a bumper event.

"Word is that people are treating this festival as a reunion event - a kind of meeting ground for all those who ever attended," says organiser Bart Fokkens.

This year sees the introduction of stronger security, more food and craft stalls and a special children's marquee.

Exciting new stage developments will accommodate a range of new bands as well as various musicians and groups who have played the festival before.

INJECTION

The organisers are looking for a fresh injection of new South African bands. Anyone wanting to play at Splashy Fen should contact Pedro Carlo on 082 892 6176 or e-mail: c-weed@iafrica.com
