Since winning the Student Life Pretoria Battle of the Bands leg in 1998, the innovative and experimental band Sshhh! has been quietly preparing for its appearance as a world-class act. Signed by Red Room Records (label division of Little Red Hut Media), the group was teamed up with mastermind producer Craig Dodds, of Egyptian Nursery fame. An exciting three-track single, complete with a club remix by UK producer Sparticus, was produced over a period of four months and is currently being released to radio. The CD single is distributed by Nebula Bos in South Africa with Authentic Ideas handling marketing, promotion and bookings.

Stab Me Honey is the band's first single and, in the South African context, presents an outcry against the stifling nature of chauvinism, sexism and the misapplication of Calvinism, paternalism and political doctrine. Produced and directed by the award-winning Fingerprint Filmmakers, the video is due to be released soon. The band will continue to work with Craig Dodds on their full-length album
