Live music takes place at Coolrunnings in the city centre on Fridays and Saturdays. Each show features a line-up of four bands and the music starts at 20h30 until very late at night, the cover charge is R10.

The live entertainment is presented by the Sukumani co-operative, which has been in existence for two years. Weekly performances have been held at Vuma Art Centre and also at the Workshop Loco Plaza Amphitheatre. Sukumani has its strength in the variety of music genres, maskandi, reggae, gospel, isicathamiya, udlokwe and also other types.
