NB: as of 23 September 2008, all new artSMart articles are being published on the site news.artsmart.co.za. Every Sunday evening, the Blue Bottles Cafe & Bar at the Harbour Entrance at the Point Waterfront plays host to live acoustic music. Musicians are invited to take their own instrument and join in the fun or just enjoy the music with the rest of the audience. There will be one main act with guests featured each Sunday. Musicians who are not booked but who wish to perform on Sundays, should arrive before 18h00 and put their names down. On February 17th, Syd Kitchen dishes up his unusual menu of jazz, poetry, voice and guitar to promote a major birthday and the release of his new CD. Proceeds from these BB Sunday evening gigs go to the Hidden Years Music Archive Project. More details from Dave Marks at 3rd Ear Music Company on 031 207-5314 or fax 031 207-5305 or e-mail: thirdear@iafrica.com
