Join the KZN Philharmonic with the Durban Symphonic Choir with Megan Keats for traditional Christmas Carols and Christmas favourites at the Durban Botanic Gardens for Nedbank's Christmas Carols At The Lake on December 18 at 18h30. Round up a party of family and friends, take along rugs, chairs and a picnic basket and enjoy singing carols under the stars.

Organisers have it on good authority that Father Christmas will be waiting to see the children between 16h00 and 18h00. Italian coffee, cakes and schwarmas will be on sale for the very hungry.

Tickets R30 (R15 pensioners and students/R10 members of the Friends of Durban Botanic Gardens and children under six) booked at Computicket or at the Info Centre in the Gardens.

If the weather is wet on the day, the concert will take place the following day (December 19) at the Durban Exhibition Centre. Listen to the radio to find out this event has had to be changed to the rain date.
