The Durban band Home Cooking was one of the groups chosen to perform for the cultural project of the Conference Against Racism. They recently released a CD titled Sounds Delicious which was CD of the week on the South African Rock Music Digest website and the song Indian Ocean reached as high as number two on the Rock Music Digest charts.

Home Cooking is made up of Pippa Dones (keyboard/lead vocals) and Vusi Mkhize (guitar), Yo-Yo Sikhosana (drums) and Marius Botha (bass) who all provide vocals as well. Their sound mellifluously melds Afro-jazz with mbaqanga, calypso, folk, blues, reggae, rock, pop and even songs in the style of Edith Piaf.
