This music program is sponsored by the Durban Metro Council and Department of Art Science and Technology. The music is performed every Friday on the Deck at the BAT Centre deck and the admission is free. The next guest artists will be the maskanda group Amasoka (maskanda) on October 26.

Amasoka was formed in 1990 by Madakeni. He used his earnings as a busker to purchase musical instruments and started the band. The five member band has performed in a number of concerts, business functions and private parties and is popular for its choreographed dances.
