While people all over the world are still reeling from the horrific "kamikaze"-styled terrorist attacks on New York and Washington DC last week, the American entertainment industry will come together to raise funds and spirits of all who have been touched by the tragedy.

America as a nation has rallied together and on September 22 at 06h00 M-Net will screen a live concert from America titled A Tribute To Heroes, an unprecedented event that will benefit the families of the victims of the attacks.

Celebrities from television, feature films, music, sport and news will take part. The guest line-up will include Bruce Springstein, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and more. All funds raised from this program will go to the relief effort. The Networks will underwrite all costs, and everyone involved will be donating his or her time and resources.
