Local gospel singing trio, Tree 63, who earlier this year won the prestige United States Dove Award for best Christian Rock Album of the year, returned to America for a further two month tour recently just prior to the terrorist attack on WTC.

Tree 63’s drummer Daryl wrote just after the event: "We are safe, but it was close. Jaco (who drives the group from one gig to another) and I planned to go to the WTC at 08h30, but he overslept. Just before 09h00, I was on my way to wake him when I saw the first "accident" on TV. I carried on watching and saw the second plane hit the second tower and eventually saw both the towers collapse.

“We would have been there at the exact time the second plane hit, if Jaco hadn't overslept". This is one of the many miracles coming through this awful tragedy.
