Zansi Restaurant at the BAT Centre is now hosting live music on a regular basis with a buffet dinner at R45. Every Wednesday from 20h00, Zansi offers Flying Solo where a musician of calibre provides entertainment for the evening. This month’s artist is the internationally renowned and highly popular guitarist Madala Kunene (cover charge R10).

On Fridays from 21h00, the larger groups take to the stage. On August 6, Zansi hosts a new gospel group called Toti Prophets. They will be followed by the cool reggae fusion band the Makuwanaz on August 13 with a live jazz group booked for August 27.(tbc) (cover charge R15). On Saturday, the foot-stomping rhythm of Africa carries the entertainment through until late from 21h00. Confirmed so far are the top maskanda band Ingwe Mabala on August 7 with August 14 seeing Vusi Mkhize and Sakhula (cover charge R15).

Every Sunday from 12h00, Zansi offers a delicious African inspired buffet lunch (R45, children under 6 eat free). From 16h00, a variety of live music is on offer. On August 8, there’s Africapella, with Vusi Mkhize and Sakhula performing on August 15.
