Entertainer and ilustrator Linda Giddy offers theatre for children and cartoon portraits.

The Ragamuffin Princess is a new character on the circuit of good quality children’s entertainment and is available for children’s shows and parties from June 30. It offers a mix of secular and sacred children’s songs, balloon sculpture and the cartoons of any child. “The Raggamuffin Princess wears a ragged, patched, tattered snowy white princess dress to appeal to children and remind us that we are acceptable just as we are,” says Linda Giddy.

Also available for children aged five to 11 years is The Wordless Soap!, a show designed to bring out the best in children. All about a little jester, it includes a story, balloons, Disney costume, face-painting and illustration. “It encourages spontaneity and love in a world where the competition is so great that we are tempted to compromise our personal value system to get ahead of the next man!” explains Linda.

Linda is currently working at the Breakers Hotel in Umhlanga and the cartoon portraits of children and adults have been so successful that she is now making herself available for conferences and events. Phone 073 185 5815.
