SAfm station manager, Mapule Mbhalati, has announced that effective from May 4, the popular 12h30 Sunday slot, The Editors, will be hosted by SAfm radio personality Dianne Barnard.

Based at SABC Durban, Dianne Barnard replaces Nigel Murphy who established this programme over many years. He will leave the programme at the end of April.

“In February this year, SAfm announced a new line-up as part of the PBS Rebuilding Radio Strategy. In an effort to further improve its standing as ‘South Africa’s news and information leader’, a decision was made to change certain programmes and utilise personalities within the station,” Mbhalati said.
