Some 5 000 professional and volunteer performers from around South Africa will take part in the spectacular opening ceremony of the All Africa Games ’99 to take place in Johannesburg in September. The mass displays will be co-ordinated by the local consortium Vulindlela which specialises in producing large-scale outdoor events.
