Animal-lovers are once again in for a feast of fun at this year's World of Dogs, Cats and Pet Exhibition, undoubtedly one of Durban's most popular family events.

Taking place from November 8 to 10 at the Durban Exhibition Centre, the show attracts thousands of visitors to the City - many of whom come from Cape Town and Gauteng. Now in its seventh year, the event continues to offer a range of pet-related entertainment and exhibits appealing to old and young alike.

Feline friends gather in their hundreds at the fascinating Iams Hall where top class cats take part in South Africa's largest cat show. The public arena hosts a range of dog events and a special highlight this year is the return of the Pretoria SAP Dog School Display.

The Avi-Plus Hall of Birds promises a flight of fantasy and there is a Snake Stand while The Durban Aquarium and Dolphinarium are also represented.

Learners that have taken part in the Schools Art Exhibition will be able to see their works on display adding a colourful creative element to the show.

The Exhibition is open from 17h00 to 21h00 on November 8 and from 09h00 to 18h00 on November 9 and 10. Tickets range from R20-R25 (R15 to R20 scholars & pensioners, R5 for children under 5). More details on www.dogscats.co.za
